“Sirènes – The Beauty of the Female Voice” is a collection of works by established and emerging female vocalists. “Sirènes” is a dream-list of established collaborators including Bridin Brennan (Enya’s younger sister), Kirsty Hawkshaw, Kristy Thirsk, Sophie Barker, Jody Quine and vocalists relatively new to the US market including Kirstine Stubbe of Blue Foundation, Echoestream’s Ryoko, Zoe Johnston and Irish solo artist Íse. With a long list of credentials from each artist; their work spawns a collective who’s who. The album soars through multiple genres, yet maintains a cohesive balance centered on the female voice. Drifting from lush electronica through rich singer / songwriter folk; from dynamic pop compositions to Celtic / World genres; “Sirènes” unites uniquely vast sounds around the power of voice. A portion of the financial proceeds from the album will benefit Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Childhelp USA.
