Record Label Profile Neurodisc Records
Neurodisc Records launched in the summer of 1992. Neurodisc’s debut release is within the techno genre, and later evolves into electro bass, selling over 100,000 units with its first 5 electro-bass releases. Other genres that have been integrated in Neurodisc’s catalog since 1992 are Miami Bass, Dance, Trance, New Age and World Beat. After 15 years of operation, and over 100 releases, Neurodisc Records continues to stay at the forefront of electronic and world music, by redefining the sounds of the future. The following is a brief timeline for Neurodisc Records:

1992-1993
- Neurodisc Records launched to the world as one of many Florida independent labels with their first release Spin Cycle’s “Technophobia”.

- Neurodisc Records develops within the techno realm, adding techno-bass, electro-bass & breaks to the developing catalog.

1994
- Neurodisc forms alliances with International Record Labels to exploit their artist in other countries outside of the US.

- The company is now International, both in reach and in strategy for the future.

1995
- Neurodisc Records integrates other genres of electronic music into their catalog.

- Focus is placed on the rapidly expanding European Dance market. New artists and DJ’s are brought into the mix.

Feature compilations include:

- DJ Trance mix by: Slacker, UK Drum-n-Bass by Kenny Ken, and Rave 2001 by Level_X.

- Neurodisc artist Level_X are commissioned for major remixes by Nu Metal godfathers Korn, among others.

1996

1997
- Neurodisc Records begins the expansion into chillout, new age, ambient and worldbeat genres with the release of NuSound’s “Holiday Moods” and “Erotic Moods” series.

1998-2000
- Neurodisc signs and releases albums by new artists, Amethystium and Nuevo Flamenco guitarist, Eric Hansen. Both debut albums chart on the Billboard New Age charts, and remain for weeks. Both artists release follow up records that chart as well.

- Neurodisc establishes itself as a haven for new artists with many gaining chart positions on the Billboard Charts, garnering worldwide recognition.

2002
- Neurodisc enters into new agreement with historic major label Capitol Records. The deal elevates Neurodisc and allows for independent growth and freedom, and increases distribution reach and company profile.

- Neurodisc Records celebrates its Ten Year Anniversary.

2003 - 2004
Aligning with Navarre Distribution in 2005, Neurodisc will continue to implement its vision of creating high quality music products and signing exclusive acts that represent the highest level of musical talent and innovation. Featured artists include Amethystium, Peplab, Etro Anime, Ryan Farish and Tastexperience as well as re-focus on the explosively expanding electro-bass genre. Slow growth into other genres or sub genres will keep the juices flowing, however the one consistent will be the desire to lead rather than follow, and to push the envelope wherever possible while keeping artistic merit and profitability in the same company and not losing sight of the independent spirit.
